What is the most important thing to you when dealing with an agent?
Communication is Key... As well as this there are many other aspects needed in order to keep the relationship between client and agent as open and transparent as possible. We pride ourselves on taking all processes of a sale/purchase serious and consider communication as compulsory. Returning calls, following up on emails received promptly, giving feedback to clients after all activity, explaining clearly the sales/purchase process, and relaying that both vocally and written. Explaining average timescales, the reasons behind potential delays, explaining the contract and keeping both buyer and seller fully updated regularly throughout the process...
Feedback... After every viewing we will give our clients regular feedback, we will always ask a viewer for feedback, even if your property wasn’t quite suited for them we will ask why, maybe the viewing only lasted 5 minutes, some people may even cancel before viewing, however we will always try to collect the feedback so that we can relay this to you and fully update you on the outcome of each appointment.
Client care... As well as giving feedback and contacting our clients to book appointments for viewings etc, we will also keep in regular contact to provide an update on the marketing of your property. This time can be used to discuss any interest we may have received, to discuss the market conditions, the service you have received and any other factors that may need to be discussed.
Sales progression... Our staff members are fully trained in sales progression and will keep you closely updated on the progress of your sale/purchase as well as advise you on steps you can take to make the process go at the desired pace, with minimal problems. Our negotiators will communicate with the solicitors involved, and in the case where a chain may be linked we will communicate with any other agents involved, and any other bodies that may assist the process, mortgage advisors etc. Both buyer and seller can rest assured that Tate Woodburn will be involved throughout the whole process from valuation to viewing enquires, to the handover of keys and beyond...
Security and care for your property... All Tate Woodburn staff members will conduct themselves in a professional manner. We will care for each property as if our own... Shoes off on entry! Making sure, and then double checking that the property is left as seen, if pets are in the property each staff member will be informed of the procedure regarding letting them in/out or as directed. Making sure lights are switched off, doors are securely locked and keys and managed responsibly.
